This filament-wire connection made of stainless steel offers two advantages, high porosity with absolute homogeneous pore structure and high mechanical stability. Retention rates are ranging from 3 μm up to 100 μm. High mechanical strength coupled with flexibility does allow highly efficient surface and depth filtration with a single filter media.

Steellong produces meshes in its standard program with mesh opening of 0.025 mm up to 14 mm (industrial wire mesh).Depending on the aperture, the woven wire meshes are manufactured as plain weaves (1/1) or as twilled weaves (2/2).
The standard materials used are the stainless steels AISI 316 and 316L.
Depending on the type of mesh, standard production widths range from 1.3 m to 3 m.
Customer-specific orders make up a large part of the production volume of our weaving department.
