Galvanized Before Welded - GBW - wire meshes and fences are economical and ideal for many uses. The wires used in the manufacturing process are galvanized before they are welded into a variety of mesh sizes. Different gauge wires are used. The gauge and mesh sizes are determined by the final use of the product. Smaller meshes made with lighter gauge wires are ideal for making cages for small animals. The heavier gauges and meshes with larger openings make good fences.

Galvanized welded mesh is coated with a thick layer of black PVC fused to the wire by a heat process. This makes an extremely durable and long-lasting mesh impervious to water, weather and corrosive elements. And the wire is also protected by the coating of zinc. The PVC used is flexible and will not crack when the wire is bent. It has UV inhibitors to retard degradation from sunlight. This mesh material is particularly useful for animal enclosures, cages, anti-predator barriers or other applications where rust prevention, long life, and a small mesh are desired. Also ideal for chukar pen flooring.
