Steellong test sieve products are produced in a variety of diameter sizes, in both brass and stainless steel. Sieves are available with brass frame and mesh, brass frame with stainless steel mesh or stainless frame and mesh. Brass sieves are cost efficient while stainless sieves tend to last longer and have sag-resistant mesh screen. Our sieve frames are seamless spun brass or stainless steel with rigid rolled edges and extended bottoms (skirts) to ensure a good fit between frames, pans and separators of the same diameter; and ensuring that your set of testing sieves stacks properly
Test sieves usually consist of wire mesh held in a frame. In most laboratory applications the frame is round and is made from stainless steel or brass. The standard frame sizes are three, six, eight, ten, or twelve inch diameters and metric equivalents. The woven mesh can be made of stainless steel, brass, or bronze. For most applications stainless steel is the most common material used.

Our 100mm, 150mm 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 8" and 12" diameter woven wire test sieves are all manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel. The 450mm sieve is produced from a plated mild steel frame with stainless steel as an option.

The 300mm and 450mm diameter perforated plate test sieves are manufactured from plated mild steel with stainless steel bodies being an option.The 200mm perforated plated sieve has a stainless steel body as standard.
